How the Route Planner works

  1. We translate. Every control panel has its own dialect. Some want @ for the root domain, some want it blank, cPanel wants the full name with a trailing dot. Field names differ too — "Host", "Name", "Record name". The itinerary uses your provider's words.
  2. We clear the road. Most "it's not working" problems are an old record still in the way: a parking page, domain forwarding, a second SPF record. We list what to delete first.
  3. We check the signs. Press Check my signs and we query live DNS for every record, showing what's right, what's missing and what's there instead.

Values are each service's published defaults. Where a service issues account-specific values (verification codes, DKIM keys) we ask you for them rather than guess.
