Change DNS records at A2 Hosting

Where the DNS settings live

1. Sign in to the A2 client area and open Domains → My Domains.
2. Click Manage → Manage DNS. For hosted sites use cPanel → Zone Editor.

Adding a record

1. In cPanel Zone Editor, click Manage next to the domain, then Add Record.
2. Set name, type, TTL and record value, then Add Record.

Editing or deleting a record

1. Click Edit on the row, change the value, then Save Record.
2. Use Delete to remove it.

Changing the nameservers

1. From the client area, open the domain and choose Nameservers → Use custom nameservers.

After you save

DNS changes aren't instant. Resolvers keep the old answer until the previous record's TTL expires, so a record with a 4-hour TTL can take 4 hours to change everywhere. Use the Route Planner's live check to see what the world sees, and the troubleshooting page if it still looks wrong after the TTL has passed.
